Newport to Newport surfin safari...

Hey kids I'm making a trip from Newport OR to Newport CA. I'm in Newport OR right now and I plan on hitting surf spots on down the OR & CA coast.

Disclaimer: I'm no Andy Irons, but I do enjoy surfing.

I was just wondering if anyone would be in between those two points and would like to spend some time surfing. I you're feeling it post up or send a PM, I'd be stoked to surf with you.

I plan on being through OR by the end of this week and I'll be spending a day or two in Mendocino with a friend. After that I have nothing planed other than looking at the coast and stopping where it looks cool. If all goes to plan I think I'll be surfing in Huntington and eating Fred's mahi tacos by Aug 6.

It would be cool to surf with some Mags on the way!

^^^ That sucks, but I thought the wedge was closed for that reason...

I didn't take pics today because I didn't feel comfortable leaving my camera to chill by itself on the beach, but here is a sunset on my first day of surfing. I make no apologies for photo size.
