    Nice, Splat!

Note to self: After seeing 3+ years of sick TR's from the far reaches of the globe, must make a trip with splat someday. Too bad it wasn't this one.

Thanks, guys. And thanks to KD and Bie for working to keep good content up there for those times when we've all read the mag cover to cover. Maybe sometime we could all go back over there and post for a day as a show of support. The site is going to get upgraded again soon; hopefully, someone will get it right this time, and it'd be nice to show the suits it's worth the effort.

Teledave - I say you make every effort to travel with Splat. He makes the trip better - you'll have a smile plastered on your face from beginning to end, morning to night.

I've gotta say that those Burnout 3 ads that are over the powmag site's content have made me completely stop going to powder's site. That's one of the worst thing's i've ever seen.

Here's my take on travelling with Splat:

If he says something like "It might be a good idea to bring some flame retardant pants, a live chicken, at least one pair of hip waders and 1/2 a cort of firewood," I'd assume he was serious long before I assumed he was joking.

Getting em too, annoying as all get out. Got plenty of pop up blockers and crap on this puter, kills all but the Powder pop ups.

I go there periodically. Normally shows 1-6 registered users logged in and 6-8 non-registered. An overhaul needs to happen and go back to the older days. The new board there is really not user friendly to me.

Yes, we need to support our old home.

Soon, Jumper. Talked to KD today and he's gonna jump up the ad guys' asses for all those popups. Maybe the day after they get them outa there. Kind of a positive reinforcement thing.

    There...
Tom.......worked on my Jeep for me tonight, we went out to dinner in it, hood blows up on the freeway while doing about 70. Funny shit. We got a laugh outa that. Had to pry it down off the left side of the fast lane in traffic, both of us standing on the quarter panels. Now he's ripping and mounting bindings. He's so productive.

    Gotta love the guy.

    KD is the mang!

Just thought I would add that...

Btw, nice article, Splat. Like the rest of these silly guys, I'm adding going south (way south) to my "List". It's just too good not to...

Edit: did you feel like Chris Farley in Tommy Boy, splat?

I seem to remember a similiar event at a Hood trip. People jumping on Splat's jeep to try and shut the hood. Being as how I work on cars for a living I merely watched with a smirk on my face.

You really oughta think about replacing the hinges on that hood. But, don't ask me to help. I will however stand around and offer advice. (With a beer in hand of course)

New hinges today, but the hammered-out hood stayed.
Got an image to keep, ya know...
