I'm thinking you left out one of the best centrally located Michigan resorts. What about Caberfae?

I'm in if I have a drivers license by then.............

searchmont sounds cool being only 2 hours from the bridge as opposed to the 6 or so to bohemia..............

but then again staying stateside has it's benefits too

I know I'm new around here, but I have to stick by Searchmont.....and it's not just because I'm too lazy to drive to Bulemia.

    - vast backcountry opportunity (if you are willing to work a little)

    - sled procurement is possible

    - people under 21 can drink legally (if there are any going to attend)

-if there are skiers/boarders who are not super rad, Searchmont offers the option of tamer terrain

    - jimmy's cliff (I'll take you there.....it's super duper secret)

    - THere are no strip clubs near Mt. Bulemia, and MTU girls are ugly (sorry Ripley Ripper, but it's true).
    Looking California, feeling Minnesota.

I'll vote for Bohemia. Another option is Granite Peak, Formerly Rib Mtn, which is in Wausau (Central WI). I haven't skied it since the name change a few years ago. I guess they now have something like 75 runs.

And the obvious reason is that it's way too gnar for you

Also, you shouldn't be voting, only cool people can vote here.

I voted Bohemia -- but will also go if Searchmont.
No go anywhere else Midwest for me.

I voted for Nub's Nob. However, Searchmont would be doable for the Nohills family. We wouldn't do Bohemia because 1) it's too far to drive and 2) we're not good enough skiers yet to handle it.

Voted for Bohemia. My house to Bohemia - 8 hrs

    my house to:
    Searchmont - 15 hrs
    Bozeman - 15 hrs
    Loveland - 13 hrs

I will go to Bohemia, but there's not much motivation for Searchmont, regardless of the bc.... I figured when I posted the first thread this would happen, simply because the midwest is so damn big and 1/2 way worthwhile places are few and far between. rtp would be going with me, so I'm sure he feels the same way.
