    Summer's Over!!

School has started, it gets dark, the leaves are yellow and the snowline is down to 3000'

    How is it everywhere else?

Snow level projected to be around 5000 feet on Mt. Hood this weekend.

Meanwhile, it's raining a lot in Portland and I'm in a losing battle with the weeds in my yard.

Still warm here in NJ, but today is grey and rather cool, it feels kinda like PNW weather, but not quite as damp. Grey gloomy days have to be my second favorite type of weather after a massive 2+ inch/hour snowstorm. With that being said, I'm in heaven today. Now I just need my Powder Mag to show up already.

I just need summer to last through September. The base of my wakeboard has barely touched water this summer. Then maybe some "Indian Summer" days in October for biking and golf... and then fast forward to dead of winter as soon as November 1 hits!

'Twas a bizzare summer here. 80 degrees on Easter; no rain in April; leaves turned in July; fire season was going great guns till it all crashed in the third week of August, seven weeks early.

Hard to go from 100 to 60 overnight - then stay there.
