Cameraman or someone else in the studio.

Now, why is the newsdesk guy so quiet? Is he pissed that somebody laughed, or is he trying to keep his shit together himself?

I think he is trying to keep his shit together and probably also scared that he is going to get fired for laughing while on the air.

Laughing my ass off! The dude was obviously trying to keep his shit together in the face of another great sound bite from W. Jon Stewart should have a field day with this one! As one of my favorite bumber stickers says:

George W. Bush jr. is a moron and you know it.

Does he say "doctors aren't able to practice their logs?"

EDIT: oh, "practice their love," yeah, that's funnier.

There is of course the possibility that Jr will join the ranks of the unemployed. Newsweek poll today shows the margin between W and Kerry now at 5%, considerably down from the 11 - 12% bump after the well orchestrated GOP convention.

I heart Keith Olberman. It was quite weird to see his face on MSNBC when he moved over from ESPN.

He was on MSNBC 8 years ago - they gave him a show called "Keith Olberman's Big Show" that I used to do studio remotes for. Funny as shit - we laughed into our shirtsleeves continuously - but unfortunately too funny for MSNBC at the time. He actually left and went network (ABC?) for a while, then just recently returned to MS.

Olberman's a genius... and just as difficult to work with. A true grade "A" Asshole, but ... well.. maybe that's just my opinion.

He did sports for NBC's Los Angeles affiliate, Channel 4, before going ESPN, as I recall.
