    i used to dig all the NWA song intros, there was some funny stuff. for rock i like the intro to Van Halen's Everybody want some....mmmm, the burger guy dancing on the grill
    still keepin' it real for the ladies!

    can one track on a cd be considered an intro for another? radiohead, ok computer... track six leading into track seven. i wish i paid closer attention to song titles.

    If you like song intros, listen to Osymyso's "Intro introspection".
    12 minute mashup mix of a hundred or so song intros blended into one trip.
    Surprising how many songs you can recognise based on the first bar or even just a couple of notes.

    how about great beginnings to crappy songs?

    I can't stand Billy Joel, but some of his songs have great intros. I hear them and think "hey this is nice" then they segue to a run of the mill crap BJ song
