    Waterproof cases for rafting/kayaking

I used the search function, but have not seen this specifically discussed, unless I am bigger JONG than I thought. Any personal experience taking DSLR in waterproof cases? Have a trip coming up in Hells Canyon.

I just put mine in a drybag and clip it on somewheres handy. I have flipped rafts and done lots of wet exits and never an issue.

Pelican Cases or Hardigg Storm Cases should work fine. Just test them out in the sink before you take them on the river. Maybe throw a small piece of something absorbent in to the case so that any water that gets inside won't just slosh around.

It's also good to make sure they float. My buddy had his gear in a waterproof bag that sank when his canoe flipped. I'm guessing someone will find a bunch of dry Nikon gear at the bottom of Moosehead someday.

If you need a hard waterproof case, I really like my HPRC... http://www.plaber.com/

Late to the game, but Watershed bags are by far the best drybags out there.
