I was recommended lexipro, but they said then I couldn't drink, so obviously I am staying med free.

I like Ice just the way he is

    Have a look at this

Seriously, you can buy this in booze shops here in the UK. It works. It basically breaks down the alcohol and stops hangovers.

My wife has, in the past, asked me to refrain. I too a good look at myself, decided she was wrong - and did it anyway.

No need to take pills yet. If you think a change is in order, see if you can change yourself.

Ice, you've got to be fucking kidding me!

I get so pissed off seeing QUACKS prescribing meds for everything, it's a FUCKING SHAME!!!

What happened to character in people??!! For fucks sake dude, do you REALLY need some douchebag who never had the self-esteem in life to do what he really wanted (read:Psychiatrist) to prescribe you meds? It's normal to be unhappy at times, it's normal to want to kill people at times, but it's not normal to want to do your dog. (although libs might say differently)

Life isn't easy, it's not the fucking Beaver Cleaver version of reality, and that whole mentality can suck my cock. That's why I get so passionate about some of the dumb fucking perceptions of reality I see here, but you my friend just need a little confidence. Get back on the skis, that'll make you feel good, and then you'll laugh that you presented this shit to a bunch of internet freaks.

I think it's funny how this board is soooo liberal minded politically, but at the same time I got banned for making a Prozac joke. You're tough Ice, don't let the weak sway you to their way of thinking, use the force Luke. (alcohol is the answer)

So to answer your question, NO, YOU WOULD NOT BE BETTER, you'd just be another numbed out fucking droid of our superficial shallow society. Be your own person, FUCK'EM.
    -your boy, B.

i dont know you at all, but i hit a similar crossroad after drinking all afternoon at a skiercoss race at mt snow, had parking lot sex with some chick and somehow drove myself back to boston all completely blacked out. not a bad day if your 22, but at 33 i realized my shit was out of control. since then, i stopped drinking and the self created chaos disappeared. no need for meds. it amazes me that alcohol causes people to go crazy, get violent, drive etc... is perfectly acceptable and ganja which makes people to chill out, relax, smile and laugh lots is illegal. since when have you heard of "stoned and disorderly"? my .02 is to drop the liquid argument and get a bag of herb.

As Letterman's Mom (I think) said, shouldn't that be "Say no, thank you, to drugs?"

All of my loigical and emotional pleadings, similar to MD 9s views, on how no one should be brought to the mediocre mean from the fun filled edge, have been silenced by Brett's obvious need for medication exhibited in his last 2 posts.

I didna know the DSM-IV even defined "Masshole" let alone that there is already a medication for it.

Umm, there's this book - "A Clockwork Orange" - you may have seen the film they made from it...

Stay away from the doggy-downers, Ice. If you need to put the scotch bottle away for a couple two-tree months, do so, but don't zombify yourself in the process.

EDIT: I gotcher "Axxon Grahve" righcheer...

Hey, don't worry about me, fellas, I had just received something of a yelling-at before I started this thread. There are no meds in the plan. Actually, there's no plan in the plan except try to keep things on the downlow for a bit.
