Yeah, I am leaning more and more to the shorter boards... being that I am a mere 6', 182 lbs. [Arnold Accent] A girly man compared to da BC-Flow! [/Arnold Accent]

BUT, and this is a big but... I am skiing at Crystal this year, which is more wide open than Alpe'... thus the justification to go with a bigger board.
get the 189 dude. no question, you'll love the shit out of em.

i did go and check the chiefs out this evening. pretty sweet ski. good flex, i'm tempted but will hold and see what's up with the new seth pro model. i want some twin action, ya know what i'm sayin?

I may have to do just that and go with the 189's. The Chief and the Pistol are very comparable skis, but I think the Pistol is going to be more versatile in the long run.

I am off to Vegas in the morning for 4 days... reading my Oct addition of Pow Mag on the plane... I will think on it.

    Peace

    Thumbs up

    Bump!!!!

I decided on the B3's. I liked the way they demo'd last year, and I think they will be more versatile than the other two.

    I went with the 185's.

Thanks for all the advice folks!!!

Brand new B3's in a 185 cm sold for $429 on ebay today.
Avoid employing unlucky people - throw half of the pile of resume's in the bin without reading them.

    Red face

Thought I had the B3's locked up, but the pro deal was not lined up yet. So, instead I decided to go with the Pistols... it was also a Pro deal for the 04/05's.

    Not bad.

Edited: for JONG'ishness... my bad, wont happen again

Dude fubar, bad form. Please edit your post and remove pro deal pricing. You'll love the Pistols...fun ski. I bought a pair last year and actually use them as my touring ski in a 189 w/ freerides. Not horribly heavy and when you turn em downhill....mmmmm!

What made you decide to go with the 189's?

BTW, edited prior post to correct errors in judgement.

What's the point? You usually only get one or two proforms, which aren't enough to hand out to people, so there's no reason to know what you might be paying. If you deserve proforms, you know how much the stuff costs...
