    Need some ideas, Maggots

So, I have an incredibly cool boss that buys me the RCR Superpass f/ Fernie, LL, Nakiska & Kimberley every year for christmas.
Last year, he upped the ante and got one for my wife as well. This year, according to the phone call I just got from him, he stepped it up again - Rockies Passport (Lake Louise, Sunshine Village, Norquay, Nakiska, Fernie, Kimberley, Panorama and Marmot Basin) for the both of us. Since he found out that I'd skied around 12 days before our Christmas party last year, he ordered it now so I'd be ready for opening day.
I want to do something for him and his wife that shows my appreciation. I'm pretty certain that I wouldn't be skiing 50+ a season without his generosity. Give me your best, maggots.

Local Artwork? You can find some nice stuff made by local artists plus you are supporting some good folks.

Maybe a weekend getaway for them somewhere nice like the castle junction cabins?

Eh... the brain has now stalled and refuses to output any more, sorry for only 2 weak suggestions.
Recently overheard: "Hey Ralph, what were you drinking that time that you set your face on fire?"

It's very nice of him to do this for you but if he gave you a bonus of equal value would you buy him a gift?

More thought went into it than just writing a check. he knows you'll use it rather than just give you cash that might get used to pay bills.

Just say "thanks boss" and work hard for the guy.

He's laying out quite a chuck of change for you. The artwork is really a pretty good thought. I don't think you need to step it up too much and match gifts though. I'm sure that's not what he had in mind. You probably make him lots of money and that's what he wants to reward. A real good bottle of scotch is always a good thing that's maybe doesn't include the wife so much but the boss thing is more between you and he anyways.
It's not so much the model year, it's the high mileage or meterage to keep the youth of Canada happy

I think L7's got the right idea. He's been good to you because of what you do for him EVERY day - his way of showing his appreciation. He's not looking for reciprocity.

Some nice framed artwork from one of our many photogs & a nice bottle of scotch or bourbon - would be something he appreciates.

Along with a card that states your appreciation & a sincere personal "thank you", I'm sure is something that would mean as much to him as the passes / time off - do to you.

Yeah, that's the thing - I know he doesn't expect anything. I work for a pretty small company and he treats all of us pretty good. Why I was looking for something cool for him.

Actually, I think Dude_Le's idea might fly - him and his wife both ski.

If I owned my own business I would dig a day or two of cat skiing a lot more than I would some local artwork, but thats just me.
