    East Coast Mini Summit?

Any EC's want to plan a few mini summits this winter?

I'll be opening my VT house up to all house broken maggots who need a place to crash in southern VT. I'm only renting the house out (5 bedroom - sleeps 10 in beds) during the holiday weeks this year - so let's hear what you have to say.

The house is right off the Stratton access road and close to Magic and only a short drive to Kmart. I'm thinking early/mid Dec (if it snows) and early Jan. and then one in Feb and March. Nothing to formal - just a gathering with beer and hopefully snow

Let me know what dates work best for everyone and feel free to add any comments/suggestions/ideas.

    pray for snow,

I might actually be able to make something this winter....depending on classes. I have a friend at UVM who would let me crash in his room, so I'd be down for anything around there. Kmart would be good too...

Only if we can spend many days doing gondola laps at Stratton. Wicked mint lines (I mean waiting in line, not lines to ski).

You know I'll be there whenever I can make it...

I only ski Stratton when it's free and love the sweet fall lines on upper, middle and lower Standard.

The moving ducks can make it so much fun

I'd be down if somebody could pick me up at either Hartford or Manchester Airport (and bring me back, too).

Should also think about a day up North, MRG, Smuggs, Jay, Stowe.

I was talking to milodbill about this last weekend, I have a friend of a friend that has an upstart video production company. If the days work out and the snow is good I might be able to talk him into shooting some stuff. I have not talked to him yet but he is always looking for good stuff to shoot. Just keep this in mind, not sure if it will actually work out.

It's about a 90 minute drive to MRG and just under 2 hours to Stowe/Smuggs from my place. I typically drive to the snow and would be down for some Jay trips.

Count me in! I can bring lots of groovy snacks.

Another idea...what do you think the odds would be that all the EC maggots would get very sick mid-week after a storm moves through VT, and then suddenly get well really quick and decide it's not worthwhile to go in to work anyway and so drive up to VT instead and meet up for a day of crowd-free skiiing?

I feel that could happen. After all, don't viruses spread via the Internet? Save those sick/personal/vacation days!

Should I start my cough/sniffle routine now? Or hold off until at least the 15th?

actually, I could, since its on the way. You have won a ride in the boy racer neon! For 5 dollars more you don't ride in the trunk!
    EDIT: Manchester Airport only
I went to the last one, I'll go to this one. It's fun being the slow and useless guy for once.

Where do you live that makes manchester on the way? I'm 10 minutes from the airport....maybe we could work out a carpool or something?

Dover. It's on the way across the state. Concord is marginally faster, but it's not a big deal to add an extra few mins on. I have room in my car for 3+skis+gear if I get advance warning to put the box on top, but I'd prefer 2 so we don't (rack whistles like a bitch).

I'm down. I have crash space, but my 'rents prolly wouldn't be too happy about me inviting a bunch of my internet buddies to spend a weekend at our place. Although if you bring lots of beer and promise to keep the woodstove stoked all night.....

OK a few people with I'm in.....

but how about some potential dates and locations?

    Mid to late Dec???

    Early Jan??

    Mid-late Feb???

    March?

    All of the above?

Or do we just wait and see where and when the snow hits?

If it is a northern location I could host a few (~3) at my house depending on dates and as long as you like dogs.
