I recently just discovered the band Rise Against, a hardcore-punk band out of chicago. I'm sure a couple of you listen to them but for those that don't definately check them out. they rock on another level, and their lyrics aren't blink 182 pointless.

hell yeah! they're a great band. I love their cd "revolutions per minute", the new one's pretty good too.

I have seen these guys a few times. Talked to em (well told em that I liked their set) they are totally aproachable-- seems they hang in the crowd after they play (at least they did for NOFX). Good live. I like em.
They are in Portland soon, Rock Aginst Bush, I think??
