"STIMULUS" Movie

Just saw the Team13/Rage films new flick called Stimulus. Holy shit, welcome to the big leagues of Matchstick, TGR, PBP, fellas. This movie is sweet.

Kick ass skiing, Pow, Monster truck style Landcruiser, Sled scenes and a sweet soundtrack.

Oh yeah, theres a segment with Jamie Pierre that just proves that he is alot dumber than he is a skier.

Def check this movie out.

that cliff at the end is 90+ minimum. now that's goin' big. i also like the slough train that wipes out that guy. this will be a sick movie, but i still think from the trailers i've seen that team 13 will be #3 this year. next year i can see them hitting the #1 mark.

team 13 has always been a huge supporter of maggots, and they make one of the sickest products around. Speaking for myself, I can't wait to check out the new goods from our friend slippy.

For those knocking team 13, there is just no need. Stoke builds on stoke, and I for one can't get enough of awesome skiing footage.

Fair point when it comes to handing out awards.

I've been consistently impressed with Team 13's output to date, however, so even if Stimulus isn't the best flick released this year, I'm pretty confident that it's going to be a kick ass movie.

I like the very sharp editing of T13 movies. They just feel very stylishly put together and - from a very personal standpoint - I tend to like the music better. Just my .02c. I'm sure TGR and MSP are going to bring some killer product too.

As an aside, I'm not sure if this counts as news but I received an email from Bill Heath saying that he's not going to make any more ski movies.

"I'm out of the ski business now. Sinners was a good place to stop. It says everything I want to say..."

Yup. The reason I like their stuff so much is it's usually the right balance of jib, deep pow and big mountain. Can't wait to see the new flick.

T13's footage and riders may not be up to snuff with the rockstars that are TGR and MSP... but their overall product is much more stylish. They have superior and more original editing and the blending of music selection to ski footage is unsurpassed by any other ski flick maker.

i didn't say i wouldn't go see it when its screened, i just probably won't buy it.

Goin' to see it in town tomorrow night. Yep, pretty stoked. Put in an order the DVD a couple of weeks ago and waitin' on it. Fall is for watchin' ski porn, watchin' the sky, watchin' the weather systems and waitin'. Pergatory, and not the ski area. Soon enuff eh?

7 & 9 pm both nights.
7 pm shows = all ages
9 pm shows = just the old folks, no kiddies please
