Is the MRG single the last single chair in the US? SV took theirs down from Exhibition in the 70's.

There used to be a single at one of the SoCal areas (Krakta?), but I believe they stopped running it a few years ago.

man, please let the snowpack in the whites/presis be better than last season.

this is the season to get some stuff done, hopefully.

Anybody have any beta on the opening of the cog railway for skiing? Their website just says call for details.

No official word yet, as far as I know. I'd imagine that when it does open, late winter/early spring would be the best time to hit it.

I was in North Conway this weekend and picked up a broucher about it but then didn't look at it. I'll see if I can find it at home tonight.

Don't bother with the cog skiing. It's only gonna take skiers up about 1300-1500 vert on that first flat straightaway and groom it as well. Itwill just be a groomed blue square lane. To make matters worse, the lane is right in my skintrack that takes me into the Sphinx trail. There goes my peace and quiet!
