My good friend Benji just got a 50d and has been playing around with the video feature. Here is some footage for the last week (man is that all!). June's been a good month here, the local crew have been firing things up, and getting down some of the classics at good flows. Everyone was feeling pretty proud of themselves until Tyler Bradt and Ian Gargcia showed up for a cameo and a birthday waterfall on Wednesday!

HOly crap that was awesome.
Some of the finest looking HD footage I have ever looked at. Seems like the smugmug hosting worked great. Still paused to load a time or two but it ran pretty seamlessly.
If only you had some decent whitewater to run.

I didn't have anything to do with this one but seeing as folks like Benji's last film I thought I'd share is latest. The idea was to paddle everything that could be accessed and shuttled easily by train in the region. Part of a larger documentry he is putting together.

we had 7 days without rain from Jully to October so the water was great for the rest of the season, lots of rain means the light was not so good for filming though.
