    Toyota Pickups, WTF?!

So, I don't need a vehicle, but I thought I'd glance through the tahoe.com auto classifieds. Some retard is asking $10,000 for his 1988 Toyota 4x4 pickup with 89k miles on it! So, it does have a bunch of extras, a cap, bedliner, 4" lift, super swampers, skid plate (but this says to me that it might have been trashed on), but even so Blue Book value is under $4000!

I've seen similar shit like this around here and on the San Fran. Craigslist also. Maybe I should just mind my own business and let people carry on their own ridiculousness.

My point is though, that they're not fucking made of gold, bulletproof, never have problems, etc. It's just a truck. You can get a Nissan 4x4 pickup for pretty much 1/2 the price.

    Rant over.

You should buy it for the super swampers
In drove this drunken madman and stopped on a dime! Unfortunately the dime was in Mr. Rococo's pocket!

The right price is whatever the market will bear. If they can get it, good for them and haha to the buyer.
On the flipside, the right looking around will often find vehicles priced foolishly below market value. Be smarter.

what an idiot. Even my dad's 87 4runner with a race motor and a ton of custom mods wouldn't go for over 7K, and his is nice (except for the dents).

Most pickups hold their value. A pickup that is in good condition and well maintained really holds it's value.

I'm looking at a 92 Toy for 4200 sad thing is I would buy it over just about any US truck.

Edit: Can anyone fathom a guess to the towing capacity to the 4 banger 4x4 ? anyone?

I bought my 88 Chev 1500 this summer for $2000 canadian. Now its a regular cab 2wd but its damn good shape and loaded right up (even the ac works), but $8000 for that toyota is crazy.
