Going to pick up the new 5D

It killed me not being able to take it to Zion and Bryce last week, but I'm heading out right now to pick it up!!!!!

What brand of CF cards are you guys using for the video?

Don't know what data transfer rate you need for vid, but guessing you want a UMDA compliant card, if only for faster transferring of files to your computer. A FW800 card reader and some Extreme IVs would be the hot ticket.

you don't need the udma cards for video, only for shooting RAW's in burst mode. The new extreme cards are money though

Yeah, I have about 50 gigs of older Ultra II's, so I'm just going to stick with them for the time being. The camera fucking rocks though.

Sounds like a good idea though, 5D also has some contradictions that you need to be careful because it has a big memory and it leads to more space ifor viruses if you try to upload your pics on it.
