bash guards are the coolest! you would not be dork. As long as you don't use your big ring, the guard will save you alot of heartache, and it looks hella cool. The E13(Evil) one is cool, but it is big, so it gets hung up a little easier on stuff. You might look into a kooka crank case or a race face bashguard as well

i got a race face bash guard on my bike. after two seasons it's pretty banged up, so i can imagine all the damage that might have been to the big ring and chain. so they do wrk.

    try jensonusa.com.

You would be looking for the E13 Supercharger kit, (just the bashguard.) They come in a smaller 36t version that gives a little more clearance. I just realised I have bashguards on all three bikes, even the bmx. I just can't get enough of not snapping my chain

    por ejemplo:

I like the Salsa and FSA bash guards because they have teeth to grab logs as you're going over them unlike the RF and E13 which are smooth and spin over stuff. Anyway you go you'll definitely appreciate the increased ground clearance.
