    Irresponsible Purchases

Just picked up a pair of Spatulas and a pair of Karhu Jaks from evogear. That site is titties. It seems like as soon as I get a few bucks in my account there is a great "deal" on skis that I need to complete the quiver.

I'm opening the forum to irresponsible purchasing stories. I know I'm not the only one...
You know, there's like a butt-load of gangs at this school. This one gang kept wanting me to join because I'm pretty good with a bowstaff.

I have a quiver of one. Whenever I feel that I 'need' more gear, I remind myself that I will suck no matter what I'm on.

For you short Utards out there:

Just saw at Gart's Sniagrab sale about 6 pairs of the Atomic Tele-Daddy for $259. No that is not a mis-print. Get on down there to score a pair, or three.

Stop it, you guys are killing me.

I have one pair by the grace of a generous maggot. I spent my last $4,000 paying off my student loans. $1200 more and I'm home free.

Then it's on to the property taxes.......... The ones I deferred to pay for my tuition.

I'm not complaining, just jealous. Party on boyz.

dude, I have the exact same problems.

"So let me get this straight - you have four pairs of skis now? Why?"

the thing that gets me is that when I answer the "why", he doesn't listen, so each time it comes up I have to explain it again.

Think I'll just speak in Klingon next time he asks, and see if he picks up on it.

    Drool. Drool. Never Summer Premier.

I've bought one of these each season for the last two seasons. Just 'cause they kick so much ass - fast and stable yet agile and super floatation in the pow. Stomps airs like nobody's bidness.

Tempted to buy yet another one.

Christ, I wouldn't even know where to start.

Most recent was a TREK 5000 to replace the Lemond I just trashed in a wreck last week. I had to give myself a "time out" to keep from buying a Fondriest frame instead of the TREK. I figure I got a whole bike way cheaper than the Fondriest frame, so I'm coming out ahead in the game.

I'm now eyeing the 2005 Atomic B5 skis. I wish they made a longer length than 172 - that just seems WAY too short.
