    One day in Costa Rica...advice?

Same story as skiingdude1234, but I noticed he got no advice really. I'm hoping you guys like me more.

Anyway, same story actually: in Playa Flamingo tomorrow and all day friday. I'm thinking friday I should devote all day to getting a good session or two. Maybe even a day boat trip? I'm thinking Playa Grande as it seems closest. Somebody in the other thread mentioned a boat trip to Ollie's. I'd be down to throw some coin at it, if it was gonna be sick. Hoping I won't get in over my head. I'd say I'm an intermediate. Still more comfortable on a longboard, but I'm transitioning over to a 7-6 rusty desert island (yeah, yeah, still a 'longboard' I know....but I'm 6-0, 195lbs). If I can surf Churches and Middles at Trestles no problem, can I handle these waves (I get the impression P. Grande has a few options).

Also need to rent a board. Any solid advice on spots or outfits (for rental or guided trips) thoroughly appreciated.

    BA,
I was in grande today and the main break was looking GOOD! Way too big for me since it was well over 15 ft waves. I hit the lookers left of the main break for most of the day and had some 5 - 10 footers. But from what everyone is saying, the waves are going to be alot bigger tomorrow and saturday. I might hit up tamarindo for some smaller stuff or back to grande. I bought a used board at frioles surf shop by grande beach for $100. Have fun and be safe...
