    PRIME LOCATIONS FOR THE SEMESTER

    ||((((((((((((((((((((((((((((|||||||||||||||||||| |||
    Have a question for all the knowledgable dudes
    in the surf right now. I am a park rider, rails &
    spines more than aerials . Where are the best
    surf conditions for me to check out?

    Thanks Much For any Advice!
    Peace and Love to the Community

    Not a lot of rails to grind in the ocean.

    Santa Cruz gets some decent south swells in the summer, and a mix of NW wind swell or late/early season smaller ground swell. Plenty other to do here as well, MTB especially. And not too far from the Sierra for some skiing into July this year. SF nearby to get your big city needs. Bring a 4/3 wetsuit. And maybe booties.

    San Diego and Orange County picks up quite a bit more south and SE swells. Not as easy to get out to other things as there is a lot of highway and suburbs to deal with. Warmer water - often board shorts. Does not pick up any NW wind swell really.

    Mexico, mainland and southern Baja has plenty of S swell spots, as does Central America. Bring sunblock and be prepared to sip cerveza.

    East Coast is less predictable, but Rhode Island gets a lot of 'caine swell when it comes. But like I said, you can't count on it. Bring lots of money.

    Much Gratitude for that Post.
    Your comments are going to be super helpful. I think I am looking at San Diego your description makes it sound prime. What did you mean by MTB?
    I am definately looking for predictability if you have any guaranteed spots I would praise you.
    Thanks Again

    I would stay far away from California. No good park riders surf well out here.

    Florida = Good call.

    The one guy gave you decent advice, but I wouldn't suggest trunking it in California. Generally 3/2 during summer, and 4/3 with booties.

    If your going to San Diego. The most consistent spot would be Wind andSea.
    Be sure to let everyone know that your an ace sowboarder that can ride rails. that should impress the locals.

    I love to visit Maldeves, if you have ever went there. You wont believe how the nature has blessed this country.
