    Eastern snow?

So far I've heard reports of snow falling in upstate NY, and Lehigh Valley PA. Anyone else want to check in?

Fack yeah we got snow. Pictures as off this morning at the base of Mount Cardigan. I suck at hosting so either someone can tell me how to do it, or just follow the links.

Flurries all day in Burlington, VT. Snowed in southern New England and its a week before Halloween. 2-3 inches in northern CT up through Mass, into NH and up into Maine. Forecast for the the north half of Maine today is Snow. Heavy at times. 4-8 inches. Cool.

2-6 inches in Southern Vermont, 1-3 higher elevations around Albany, NY, and 2-6 in most of NH away from the coast.

Again, a week before Halloween and Providence, Rhode Island was reporting light snow this morning...mother nature's got her priorities straight.

Good memories of Cardigan. Pretty cool hill for a day hike. Always wondered what the skiiing off it would be like with enough snow?

Sorry, no link. if you have instant messenger IM me and I can send it to you that way. Basically its a 12 second shot of panning from the top, and the wind blowing. Wind sounds cool though, blowing about 45 mph I'm guessing.

EDIT: my handle is in the profile

I just drove back from Southern VT and would say they got a good 3 to 6 inches. The ground is still pretty warm but it's a nice omen.

    Pray for Snow.

ahhh cardigan mountain, climb up it to see the sun rise as a 8th grader and to see the sun set on with the rest of the graduating class as 9th graders. I dunno if you could ski off of the summit its kinda flat but they're looked to be a couple of nice pitches down the mountain at least what I remeber while I was up at school there
For sure, you have to be lost to find a place that can't be found, elseways everyone would know where it was

you can ski off it (bill has some experience with this) but its the sick mtb action up there. most fun i've ever had on a bike. (it might have been that i was riding the sickest rig of all time when i was there)

Nobody cares if you take your bike and ride up top? Saw some sweet stuff I wanted to ride/ski depending on weather... Some nice steeps off the west side behind the fire tower, heading down the white/yellow trail.

We've got some vid from last winter of skiing the ledges of Firescrew down to the AMC lodge.

Specifically vid of my roommate getting flushed into some trees.

dude, those are multi-use trails. its awsome. people give a wierd look dragging a 50+ lbs freeride bike up there, but they cant stop me! its the law.

cant dog, yea i am, figured you were too. Sugarloaf should be sweet this year with the new glade between skidder and hayburner. i'm road tripping in B.C. later this year, but if you see anybody skinning up the trails before the holidays give me a shout.
