If anyone is looking for a Large Hotline hooded 4/3 wetsuit - I have one I will sell for $225. Used about 15 days. Just a bit too long for me in the arms and legs. Super warm suit. American made in Santa Cruz. In SC.

Have you tried them? I haven't, but when I was shopping around for a new 5/4/3 Xcel or 4/3 Matuse (supposedly comparably warm?) I was told the Matuse were kind of stiff and not as nice. Unfortunately the shop was out of them in my size so I couldn't try for myself.

Ended up with an Infiniti 5/4/3 and it's excellent as was my old Infiniti 4/3 but the latter's getting a bit dead after 5 years and maybe it's time to replace it w/ a limestone suit.

You didn't pick up one of the $600 Patagucci suits?

Nope, the hooded ones weren't available when I was shopping around. However, considering they fit me well and I don't need to pay retail I would consider one.

Yeah, they are nice, but they've a multi-month waitlist for most mens suits at the Outlet right now so you have to go to a real shop and pay $$$$$$$$$$ for one. Seriously $600 for a wetsuit?

I tried on the Matuse suits yesterday, it was 90 degrees out, and I was BOILING in the non-ac changing room. I didn't know why it was so difficult to put it on, the store guy said they are hard to get on, and I'm guessing a bit of sweat didn't help things.

To anyone who owns one, are they really that tough to get on?

Wetsuits are definitely hard to try on when it's hot as hell and you're sweating. My suggestion, bring a plastic bag, like a grocery shopping bag with you. When you're putting your arms and legs into the suit, just stick the bag on your hand or foot, this will help you slide right in. That should do the trick

Thanks, I think I'll also wait until it gets a bit cooler also .
