im sure whomever is driving you to the airport can take care of a stop...
Might be a good idea for a business.
Back east they had a service that would go get your pickup from whatever restaurant you wanted for a fee.
This might actually work.
you could just take trax to a stop near a grocery store
skidog, do you mean like a citywide delivery service for any restraunt you want? do you think there are enough places that dont offer in house delivery to make this realistic? it seems interesting
you mean this: http://www.slcwaiter.com/???
wow. I thought I had seen a couple of those trucks up in LCC. wondered if having the same zip code as sandy meant paying the same price as sandy resident...
Many taxi services will pick up food as well, at least from restaurants
You guys don't understand. This isn't about restaurants, this is about groceries. Normal everyday food.
I used to be able to order all the food I wanted for the week for my family online and have it delivered up to Snowbird for $15 over cost. Now I have to actually 1. Go to the Store and 2. Take the time to buy all this shit after travelling for 6 hours and 3. convince everyone else on the van that we want to stop at a grocery store.
Before all you had to say was "Beer/Wine/Liquor?" and it was on.
You honestly have no idea how much this sucks. It will add hundreds of dollars to quite a few maggots' UT trips.
whew! I figured you all got swine flu.
Shit, that's how you do it. Now that I know, it's too late. FML.
[TGRVIDEO][/TGRVIDEO]Education must be the answer, we've tried ignorance and it doesn't work!
15000 posts and probably 100 maggots residing within 20 miles. Maybe one your homiez will hook you up when in town. If I lived there I would even help you out. I bet Jer might even be around. You guys could have a Jer and Tip go shopping TR.
shit your sad albies is not delivering any more? all our stores closed in the city 2 year ago, $2.99 fried chicken, cheep pbr all gone.
if you meant slt instead of slc you could call TahoeWarmWelcome and they'll take care of it for you and have it waiting when you get there. surely there is something like that in the salt lake city area.
tipp,
you can borrow my truck next winter if you want. it just sits lonely and dejected and unused, anyway. shit, maybe i could just run a little grocery service on the side? how much did Albertson's charge for home delivery?
No Freshdirect?? Wow. Life in the hinterlands.
Maybe Stop and Shop or Freshdirect will move in at some point.
I love the idea about taking the bus and walking. Sounds like fun, bussing it and walking for a week of family groceries.

None of the other groceries deliver?
Tipp I don't know what you pay to take the van up for the whole fambly but if you use the guy I use you can get a van to yourself with a 1/2 hour stop built in for $110.00, drop the wife at Dan's or Smith's and cruise over to the liquor store, come back and load up the groceries and go.
I got sick of Albertson's with their mistakes and missed connections and how it took fucking forever to order online. If the $110 is a lot more than the shuttle take the shuttle back down.
Works well enough in Boston that we have two companies competing for the business.

Parvo wins with the funny.
