So what is the scoop on the supershow in Park City?

Suede now I see. HarryO's tired of the crazyness? Somehow each year I leave there, 10 minutes later the cops show up.

You gonna make me go all the way to Philly again!?! I mean, we have a budding little DC/Balto/NoVA crew here, and we get nothing? I for one am outraged. :Pout:

    edit - Tampa! WTF?!

Harry O's is tired of being in business. Horrible management = possible closing = we're not going to book a show there when it might not be open. Suede is our best option right now.

I'm currently trying to put a show together for Lethbridge, AB. Hopefully things will come together very soon.

You would be surprised how many good skiers/riders are stuck in Florida like me. You gotta go where the money is sometimes. At least I don't have to worry about beach related vacations, got enough of that in my own back yard

    bummer to hear that Z.\
Suede blows location wise, no pre & post main street extravaganza.

edit; without HarryOs ( and they are right to be cautious there) Suede is the only Park City option that makes sense. Did not want anyone to think I was derogating TGR's local plenipotentiary who does a great job with the UT shows.

Luckily I will get my fill at the 2 shows @ the Skybox, which is not only a KICK ASS venue, but stumble distance from my house

Nice. Lethbridge is close, keep us posted - I know quite a few people that would head down for that.

Not that I really expected one, but nothing in Kansas. I would think that KC or at least Lawrence could support a showing. In Lawrence you could do it at Liberty Hall. I know the Banff film fest. is doing a few shows there and it is also where Touching the Void played. Worth a shot, Lawrence is a very liberal town with a good sized school to attract viewers from. What size of a crowd are you looking for?

Guys, most of the shows on the schedule are because a local decided that a show in their town would be a good idea. They contacted TGR and made it happen.

We partner with these individuals and give them the resources they need. The location, time etc. are pretty much up to the local organizer.

SO....if you want a show in your town, get in touch with TGR. Not only can you get your wish, but you can probably end up making a few bucks for your troubles.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

That said, if you can make it to a show do it. I've been to a couple long before I came to TGR and they still stand out as some of the craziest nights of my life.

And woodsy, by all means go to the skybar event, but your crazy to not want to attend a super show. Heck, I might even make it down to Suede...

Definitley will check out the Eugene show. Although I saw parts of High Life at the Banff Film Fest here and the crowd let out nary a cheer....what a dead crowd! Hopefully it'll be a little more lively at the full-length feature.
