A skier/boarder make a 2 minute film in beautiful NZ, and then we can vote for the winner. My buddy Geoff Small is doing it, so sign up and vote for him if you approve of his style. The latest word is that he just won the Volkl Big Mountain Freeride at the Remarks and placed 1st in the SkierX. Furthermore, he makes me feel like a punter. I think voting starts after September 13th.

It would be very interesting to see a BCR (with knee in full health) vs. S666 show down. I'll shoot video and LPH can be the mobile emergency room.

    Yes, New Zealand only...

Geoff told me he may going back onto the world tour next year, and he loves competing at Kirkwood.....because he has never lost. I think he's done it maybe 4 times and has won every time.

The $5K is Kiwi dollars...so $3278.00 US but the Kiwi dollar has been doing pretty well lately.

Galaga rocks, but so does Gradius V for JAP PS2.

    And yes, I'm a punter...and a hack but not a hacker

Right on skier666. Thanks for bumping this. I love the grassroot vibe and I still can’t believe they are paying 5k NZ.

I could only make it through the top two entries though…way too many park hits and rail slides. Somebody needs to tell these poor kids about the powder and steeps their lovely country has to offer.

I did however make sure to watch your friend’s video and it kicked ass…by far the best out of the three I watched. And there wasn’t even any snowboarding!

The vid has a nice flow, good filming/edit, good scenery, and good skiing. Two thumbs up and I even voted.

    Edit to add:

    Team Shaka is pretty cool.

And what is this Bulldusters?! Splitboard kite boarding!

Ps. What’s the story behind the pink arm bands?
