but I'm not talking reduction to 2-5% bodyfat (bb'ing) or the essential adipose tissue required to protect your organs...overall, the leaner your body composition, the better you perform (that's what I said in the original post)...re-read the whole post...in any sport other than sumo wrestling or strict power, brute strength, short duration movements...and even with NFL linemen you are talking about gifted, genetically superior athletes....some of these 300+ linemen defy gravity and are pretty phucking fast. But I'm willing to bet that their fat (adipose) tissue isn't responsible for thier superior performance....it's the muscle underneath that is doing the work.
fat is essentially dead weight, the less you have the better you perform.
