    NO2

    Hey Gang ,
There were so many knowledgable posts on Endurox,I thought I'd start one on NO2.What you you guys know about it?

I've heard it called the new ,better creatine.Dudeman at GNC says you don't have the water gain /loss when you cycle the 21 days on it like creatine.

What about the 2 knock-offs that are $20 cheaper & $40 cheaper?Your input would be greatly appreciated.

You get water gain with creatine for this reason. Your muscles are 70% water. Creatine is cell volumising, or in english it expands your muscle cells so that they can hold more water. That's why you get bigger, and your muscles are bigger so you're stronger. If water retention is a problem, you're just fat.....

    Don't do it.

NO2 is basically legal roids in a can. My freind put 50 lbs on his bench in a matter of 2 weeks. Not to mention you will put on muscle mass incredibly fast. Far faster then any product on the market, too fast for it to be anywhere near healthy. Creatine has been on the market long enough to understand the effects of it. aka pulling water out of the internal organs into your muscles. I honestly think NO2 rasises your blood pressure beyond anything that would be considered healthy. I would do some serious research into it before even thinking about taking it.

In reference to water gain,It is my understanding that as soon as you stop taking creatine, you lose the mass you've gained.Supposedly with NO2 you keep your mass gain after the cycle.

well you have to look at it in terms of natural selection, when you kill brain cells you are killing the weak ones, leaving only the strong ones behind, therefore making you smarter

    huh?

NO2 is basically a derivative of l-arginine....an amino acid. Arginine is also a potent vasodialator, which would actually lower blood pressure in large doses. Also gives you some mighty fine wood. Arginine converts to NO2 and is a lot cheaper to use by itself than NO2 products (which are large doses of arginine derivatives)..same effect....a natural viagra....increases performance on and off the field.

btw...endurox has a pretty big dose of arginine in its formula...the old bottles listed the exact amount, something close to a gram.

That is true with creatine, however when you are using it, you are much stronger and build more muscle, and you don't lose that when you stop using it.

Doesn't just plain pushups and squats do the trick?

Yes, but you can do many more with a lot more weight using creatine, so the results are twice as good.

    sure...

if you want to look plain...

    compete plain...

    recover plain...

    and well, just be...plain.

    unless you're Hershel Walker.

others like to take it to the next level, and strive for competitve advantage, even if only to better themselves.

    Nothing wrong with either ideology

lol..actually way to big, could you imagine that dude ripping it up in the park?...but designing a sport-specific weight training, nutrition and supplement plan for greater endurance and sports performance isn't all about gigunta muscles, that would be bodybuilding.... muscle is the only tissue capable of performing work in any sport...including skiing...whereas bodyfat is just dead weight. Prolly why these topics continue to surface on a ski/ride forum.

Yikes... I'd get the hell out of his way, that's for sure!

But I do think you make a good point. I have been doing some strength training and I'm curious to see how different (if at all) it will feel to ski this season.

I'm hoping it's going to increase my stamina too, although I usually have little problem skiing all day. I do get pretty winded sometimes though and hopefully that'll stop.

Maybe for you "Jibby Kids" it's dead weight. Fat (adipose tissue) is an endocrine tissue and essential for any real sport.
