    Another seeekh powdah day

After a week of uninspiring weather and too much sitting in front of computers forecast yesterday was fo 80% sun and there was 40cm of fresh, so Little John and I headed up the Midi for a couple of pitches of powdah.

Pretty good day for this time of year, nice snow, hardly a soul around. In fact only two other people had been down the arete by the time we walked back up it (which meant that the footsteps were all wrong - to far apart)
Supposed to be snowing loads in the next couple of days and then clearing up again, next time possibly a run down to bottom rather than hiking up.

Wish I was there right now instead of here.
Nice as it always is Phil!

Nice, Phil! By the way, do you know if Killington's making snow yet?

Absotroutly beauticious. Given our horaciously inadequate climatical gyrations, this only brings more richly to bear on the question:
What the fuck am I doing here at a desk?

To be fair I am going to have to spend the best part of tomorrow at a desk - bloody database work, dull, dull, dull.
But it looks like Saturday might be clear so perhaps a run to the valley?

    Oh goodie.
Even if I imagined you skewered with zillions of tiny mouse lances while being danced upon by incontinent elephants, I doubt I would feel any better.
    Thanks anyway.

OK phil, I *need* a tech (software) job back home in France close to the mountains. PLEAAAAAAAAAASE. Your pics just make me want to go back. Any leads around your area, plese send them my way! pow4drcrash [aaaat] hotmales [dot] com. The last time I searched, all I got was a VP job in Paris in a startup. Good job (well, if the startup makes it) sure, but Paris! (And yes I am denial re: the fact that with all the time off I could have gone to the mountains often anyways.)
