I am going to go back and read this whole thread, but I like what I've read so far. Somewhat inane, somewhat relevant, but downright entertaining - classic Gonzo. Something tells me that we have lots more to come from this snow-deprived law student.![]()

i am glad to see that people here acknowledge a negative connotation to the word...whatever....sorry for the rant.

Yes! Huck used to mean "to throw hard".
Now it is really common lingo for DH/FR Mountain Bike extremo action. Doing a drop on a bike does kinda feel like your are hucking yourself. Perhaps it found its way to the snow from the dirt.
Huck = derogitory term used usually in the same sentence as carcas.
Chuck = somewhat derogitory usually done with a bit of style, usually used in the same sentence as cliff.
Launched = usually means chucked with a little more style : "Styley". Usually tricks added to Launched.
Floated = usually means Launched even more "styley" like a bird, but without any tricks added.
Missiled = usually not good outcome.
Torpedoed = usually a Huck or Chuck into deep snow creating a "Bomb hole". If you Floated off a cliff and torpedoed, then you really didn't float off the cliff. (birds don't torpedo)
Exploded = you can explode off a cliff (good) or explode on landing (bad)
Jibed = you can jib a cliff ( self-explanitory) Usually under a certain size cliff ( anything large, see above explinations)
Poped = you can pop off a cliff, usually done in the middle of a run on a big face.
Hospital aired = self-explanitory (usually the combination of Huck, Missiled , Torpedoed, and exploded. Outcome very not good.
