photo / video Contest to win skis

Sunshine Village is having a contest to win some goods.

1st prize is Salomon Czars and the other stuff is not particularly ski related.

Couple of categories. Ski video, snowboard video, ski photo, snowboard photo, winner of each is skiis and board respectively. There are some other prizes not worth mentioning.

I am going after the skis...I like skis. My entry is powder related as is the prize, and if you don't vote, hopefully you at least enjoy watching some footage of powder.

Video and photo's need to be taken at the mountain as the contest is specific to Sunshine Village.

To vote it asks you for your email to verify the vote, then it emails you a link that you then activate to count your vote. I have not received any emails or spam from the vote company, and neither have the people that have voted for me thus far, or I would have never posted here.

If you don't vote, at least enjoy some powder stoke and pics. This is no job application

Not a bad contest, I will vote for your vid. Would rather have the boards go to a legit ripper than to some gaper who filmed his buddy hitting a "drop".

one important note- you will probably want to vote for it. you have to register to vote (but not to watch the video). the kicker is that after you register you try to vote and it says you must watch 20% of the video to vote. if you register before watching the video you avoid this.

Yup, the entire site / voting system is a big pain in the ASS. I have a few submissions as well, but Time2clmb your video submission is by far the best one in there yet! I was the first commenter "Adam J", though I had already cast my vote for a friends.

The top entries are horrible, I do not understand how they have the most votes - case in point "Sunrise on Strawberry"...

I think they could have done so much better designing the contest, and had some professional judges instead of just anyone, and perhaps done it in a elimination style where the worse photos get eliminated through the weeks.

Anyways, good luck your submissions were some of the best so far.
