Cannonball trivia in my life: The Ferrari Daytona that Dan Gurney and Brock Yates took across the country in the first Cannonball is on display in the Saratoga Automobile museum down the road. What's disturbing is that it's BLUE. A blue Ferrari with those two guys in it. sheesh

    Holy

    Fucking

    Shit!
Far from being a dodgy but well-endowned porn star that his name suggests, this bloke is actually the almost mythical French geezer who is famous for having circumnavigated the 35km Paris Peripherique in just over eleven minutes - in rush hour. The video footage itself is of adequate quality and the bloody Froggy interviews are just irritating, but it's worth the price just to watch this geezer (with an on-board camera) dodging between lorries at anything up to about 170mph. Make no mistake, this bloke is mad. Totally mad. Madder than a kipper in a straitjacket. We believe he's actually deceased now, and you can kind of see why after watching this. Ladies - if you'd like to shut your other half up for fifteen minutes or so, buy your young man this video for Christmas and laugh as he attempts to re-enact it on the M25 on a Puch Maxi.
You've watched this one, Roo? That's fuckin' nuts!!!! Supposedly there are exerpts on the web - anyone find any links?
