That pic looks like the blood trail you'd leave if you attempted to ski that.

Maybe some snowboarder sprayed him in the face and made him cry?

    over it

i'm kinda over this whole park VS. powder battle. I've been noticing it more and more in magazine and in movies. I dont think that there's one skier in the world that will argue that there's fun aspects of both worlds. I think that people that suck in the park hate on people that are good and vice versa

Park is fun. And powder kicks ass. Park PLUS powder kicks even more ass! There's nothing wrong with either one. Just like there's nothing wrong with snowboarders (until they hate on you for skiing). Live and let live, I say.

But akpm, that is a highly sick line. Where is that?
    Days on snow 06-07: 3
    Days behind a boat summer 2006: 24

"Coming here and asking whether you need wider skis is like turning up at the Neverland Ranch and asking Michael if he'd like to come to Tampa with the kids" -bad roo.

I'm not a fan of the park, mostly because I suck at it, with the exception of 2 or 3 days a year when I'm just on with it. Even then, its not that fun for me. I would much rather be out in the woods than shooting off a kicker. It also has something to do with the fact that I'm much more comfortable in the air shooting off something rather than being launched up by it. Oh, and nice pic AKPM.

That whole area is called the shadow's. The specific line is Rudi's I believe and it has never been opened for the public. Money's is skiers right of the north face. I believe the only way to get to it is by hiking above New Years. It is rarely opened.

the chutes on headwall are the first two chutes skiiers right of the saddle, fast boy is the narrower steeper one and slow boy is the one closer to the saddle. they are rarely open, I think I was the last paying customer (not troller) to ski fast boy when it opened two seasons ago for two days (before that it was like 5 or 6 seasons since they had opened headwall at all).
the proposed expansion is into winter creek area where CPG currently does cat skiing.

I remember seeing those tracks a few years ago i seem to remmeber we had like 2 months without snow so they opened every thing, if only I knew how to ski back then

    I agree.

Park = fun and powder = fun. So it goes without saying that park+powder = funfun. There's no place I'd rather be on a powder day than the park because you get the best of both worlds.... nothing better than a superpipe buried in 3 feet of pow.
