I rocked some hard twang from a man with no name....

Innonomitus haZOOKED me up with some Sunvolt & Jay Farrar records that are WAAAY sweet,
The Jay Farrar solo stuff is in heavy rotation. I had heard a lot of the Sunvolt before & as much as I like it the albums dont differentiate a whole lot except Trance wich was it seems their shot @ pop stardom. all great albums. I need to reciprocate but am a music copying J O N G.

thanks for the toons nameless one, they have been rockin the suby & the condo!

    Thumbs up

Glad to hear you like, Woods!

No need to do a reciprocal burn -- music means a lot to me, and shit, I'm just happy to spread it around...

I also have been listening to a ton of Son Volt...Trace is great, Wide Swing Tremelo is very good as well, not as poppy.

Jay's first 2 albums w/Son Volt were good....but they all suck in comparison to what he did w/Jeff Tweedy (now frontman of Wilco) when they were Uncle Tupelo.

If you like Son Volt/Fraar, please do yourself a HUGE favor and get Uncle Tupelo's albums......IMHO, they put out some of the best albums, and unbelieveable live shows, of the 90s.

OH, They released a retrospective last year, a kinda best of UT culled from their 4 albums, so you can get that to start. I promise it won't disapoint.
