Just ignore everything your scoutmaster says and don't build in avalanche terrain!

    buzzy,

my suggestion schedule wise for lcc/bcc options:
fri - alta, as you said
    sat - soli
    sun - bird

the latter two work out better crowd wise
'course once the snow starts flying schedules go out the window anyway

For anyone coming from Seattle looking for flights I noticed Delta has a fare of $199 right now. Unfortunately the dates I want to travel are either sold out or blacked out (the 17th and the 19th), but there are many other dates available. This isn't a killer deal, but it ain't bad.

$219 after tax right now. The Delta flight gets in an hour earlier (9:10 am), so that's preferred IF I can get a good price. One hour earlier = one more hour if skiing after all!

No love for Basin??? I like Solisunday better and Basin on Sat (pending snow).

I though Soli on Sunday was the day of choice for most.

    Personally, I was thinking

    Fri-Alta/'Bird
    Sat-Snowbasin
    Sun- Solitude

But I'm wherever everyone else is, just avoiding the 'Bird on Sat & Sun if possible although since I've never been this early in the season maybe the crowds won't have come yet.
I should probably change my username to IReallyDon'tTeleMuchAnymoreDave.

I like the Thursday Snowbird, Friday Alta, Saturday Snowbasin Trifecta. And maybe we could pull off Wednesday wherever the snow happens to be deepest that day. I can't wait.

Yep. Have gotten the tour from Woodsy a few times, but the tours always end in the phone ringing a lot and then he goes bye-bye.

Bobmc, tour guide, sound good to me. I too plan to be Solisundaying I do believe. Solisaturday does not have the same nice ring to it.

Try Pioneer Park - 3rd west & 4th south. Plenty o' drunks w/ no where to sleep.
