    I want the Spats!

I have an offer for Lumpy's 185 PRs, what size are yours? Not sure if 185 is going to be too long for this gaper. If you happen to have 175's, that may e easier, but what do I know. Sounds like regardless you all want me to ski!! Should be plenty of planks and plenty of snow!!!

Boot sole length is 317. I wear a 10 shoe.

    Thanks all!!

Buzz, they are 185's, but I detune them big time (like 6+ inches in from tip and tail) so they slide easy and ski short (i.e. 178cm range feel). They are almost totally decambered, so they actually ski like Spats with the detuning I do. I wear a 319mm boot sole, so it's the same. Also, we could hook you up with some 173cm V-ex's and get my dad on the PR's. Your pick, provided it [.....]

I'm also bringing my 173 CMH Explosivs, demo track binders so boot size isn't an issue. Since that's my first day I'll def be on the teles, so you or anyone else is welcome to use them.

Not sure how much I'm going to go to this. Depends on weather, but it's looking like Bird one day and Canyons the other, maybe Bird both.

Besides that I'll be getting fat at my desk. Extreme!

You work for a snowsports store and you love to board and you are not going to come???? Come to the Bird Sat and Sunday at Solitude. It is in your backyard. You have a pass to one mountain. Why not?

Why the canyons, Solitude is not good enough???

I may only get to ride with you this season during the MINI, come on now.

Now that I work in the industry I don't have to practice the sports .

I'll be out at The Bird but can't buy lift tickets until I get new gear. But maybe, we'll see how Sunday turns oot.

Send me a PM if you don't want to announce it hear, but where are you working?

Buzz - I can hook you up with a pair of skis for the day.
That wouldn't be right! I can chauffeur since I won't be skiing anyway. (dammit...) I typically work until 11am but I can get out a little early and provide a ride if needed. AD - PM me for contact info...

So I WAS a definite...until my company decided that my time would be better spent on the North Slope of AK this time of year. Make this my official post that I won't be at the mini. Right now I'd settle for just knowing that I'll be home for Christmas. Corporate life sucks, there has to be a better way.

I'll plan on seeing/meeting everyone at the JH Summit.

Nice, ask for change for a nickel in line, have the radio at 5-13, do you know the general schedule? Others may be at the hotel too, I am not sure. But at least you are close to the action.

Are you alone? Looking to split costs? Others here are too, so post up if so.

I just want to say that Altachic rules! She mailed me snowbird 2-for-one passes, which will help us afford this a lot easier.

Thank you so much Altachic. I look forward to skiing w/ you in a few days...if I can keep up that is!

If anyone wants to ski at the Canyons at some point, I have a bunch of those Mobil discount passes for $15 off. PM me or track me down at the mini and I'll hand 'em off to you.

So, I might have an extra two-for-one pass to the Bird as well... I can also ride the Canyons (sorry, I've just got a pass there, translation: no extras), if anyone is interested in going up that way. I'm hearing a lot about Solisunday - but for those of us that don't want to or can't afford to buy lift tickets to resorts we don't have passes to, who's riding the Bird? Who's riding the Canyons?

We gotta go somewhere snowboarder-friendly on Friday so I'm thinking of the Bird for that day, or whichever is closest to Alta. Which is it that's right on the back-side of Alta? And are other folks congregating there on Friday?

Sprite, Snowbird is right next to Alta. The others are around an hour drive unless you are going to BC it.

Exactly what I did last year. High tail it up the road after that.

Not sure about the young ones in the bar. Utah.

uh-oh...I forgot about that whole conservative vibe thing. we're used to vermont where they serve kids soda in beer glasses and encourage them to play gun games in the bar.

We'll see if junior can grow a beard by Wednesday. Otherwise, we'll go grab some dinner and just catch up w/ everyone at Boarderline's for a few hours later on.

We'll be there tonight. See y'all at Snowbasin tomorrow. Is there a designated meeting spot?
