And Candide is an amazing park skier.

But he needs to learn to quit flailing with his arms off drops.

awesome vid - gorgeous camera work.

Candide runs some sick lines in there, but he isn't quite as smooth and graceful as some of the other guys that spend a lot of time in front of a camera. Still really fun to watch though.

The skiing, editing, camerawork, and soundtrack was fantastic - and I am a fan of Candide's skiing, but if you would've told me that was CR Johnson footage from 4 years ago I would've been like "oh yeah, that looks like outtakes from Skimovie 3:the Frontline." Not that this wasn't sick, but this is nothing I haven't seen for years by names less known. My impression of Candide is that he has amazing technical skills, great flow, and he can really step it up - this was Bminus by those standards. He was skiing lines that you'd see in a lot of comps and not really bringing anything to a new level. I enjoyed watching the vid and thought it was excellently packaged, by way of camerawork, editing, and soundtrack - but not the hottest skiing I've seen from soeone of his caliber.

I like that he skis lines with speed instead of gaping over every hit. That to me is real skill.

I dunno, I'm not sure I've seen anyone stomp cliffs that cleanly before. And he did it every single time off of multiple hits on every line, no bombholes in that entire clip, simply incredible.
