I whole heartily agree on this one. I watched 3 of their matches and Kerry was a little TOO into the butt slaps. I know they are chicks, but even my wife agreed all the hand holding and stuff was a little over the top.

After May and Walsh won and their hugs had them rolling on the ground, Misty May got off (no pun intended) Walsh really fast. I think in her mind the alarm bells went off with an emphatic "two sweaty girls in bikinis rolling around the beach is NOT a good thing."

I was definitely hoping that match would go to three games/sets.
I noticed that the Brazilians hugged each other after every point they won. That seemed a little much. Preferred KW's butt slap, personally.
Regrettably, NBC was really consistent on their camera angles - always seemed to stop just a little too high. Maybe it was my 16:9 TV

...why do they cut in after the 1st game...then during a commercial break- 7 points have gone-by?.....meanwhile prior to showing the "10" minutes of vball they're airing fukking trampolene qualifiers??? I don't want to see 234 hours of swimming, why not the gold rounds of badminton or table-tennis? or the entire vball match-not 10 minutes worth? I don't care about a wrestler whose snowmobile fell into a creek 2-years ago, or fell off his f'ing bike-or what yacht the bbskball team in on, or an interview w/a chubby 14 year-old from Riverside who wants to play softball in the 2056 games..(yes, we're living longer these days)...show the goddamn competition that counts.

I had to take a cold shower after that match. I love any sport where two athletic women roll around in the sand together and slap each other's asses. Then you watch May drill those spikes. Damn, it doesn't get old. I think womens beach volleyball needs to be on at least once a week on prime time tv. Shit, I think I would even pay for it like NFL Sunday ticket.
