Long time lurker finally coming out of the closet. So to stick with tradition I will ask a stupid question.

-As seen yesterday on another skiing related board.-
When is the best time to start skiing?

    Let the jonging begin.

Thank You and glad to be here.

For me, whenever Loveland or Abasin open.

I'm sure some would say, "Well, when do you stop?"

    The day the mountain opens.

If you're asking for a child, as soon as the child can understand the responsibility of handling equipment (where he/she left it, how to use it). Most ski schools place that at 3 years old.

Best time to start is when theres enough snow to ski. However, usually for me its when A-basin opens.
