thinkin of making a bike rack

i drive an explorer, and dont wanna haul the bike around inside anymore. i ride a specialized enduro, so the normal hitch rack designs arent gonna work for me (i think). ive got some ideas in mind, but wanna know what yall have seen/done for this situation.

Get a Saris - Cycle On. It holds the bike by the wheel. I've been using one since last year, it rocks.

Thule frame adapter. Attatches to the seatpost and stem to create a top tube for use on hitch mount carriers.

    try this for some advice

you can also do a search and you should come up with some thing. Also try pinkbike since they also did a rack review about a year ago.
