Good Ole' Democratic Salmon Barbecue in SLC..when and where?

Taking votes on when in SLC for the second annual round of fish frying (wild salmon, no farmed shit here!!!)

All suggestions and opinions from all walks of life, political polarization, and two or four edge lifestyles are valid. I'm thinking early Sept, obviously a weekend. Just leave all angst at the door, bring appetites, booze, loose women and uber-cool dogs.

Frizzo's pad has been kicked around, but obviously that entails his (and Mrs. Frizzo's) blessing.

Other suggestions have been back up to the south fork of the Ogden. Tossing out ideas for camping at one of the reservoirs...boating included (I'm thinking I can handle one of these toy boats...booze might be a factor to where I'm just a passenger). I need an ironing board for skiing to support my fat ass.

    Tanner's Flat, Woodsy's pad, Jordanelle Res, Woodsy's Pad, Fish Lake, Woodsy's Pad, High Uinta's, Woodsy's Pad...damn he's got a schweet futon.

Thinking that a one night deal in the metro area would be more condusive to the minion masses.

Kegs o' real brew...nothing like a greasy hangover from some bulk PBR. Do they make Brew 66 anymore?

Of course I like the camping idea, but we'd be down for anything.

guess you havent heard of the plastic from fire retardant that happens to be toxic and is found in wild salmon.

I'm open to using the roof at my place; it would have to be on a Friday night , since I work on Saturdays until 10pm - but we have 2 big gas grills up there that would be perfect for the salmon...

And Woodsy's place is easily within stumbing distance...

Upside is cool views, a big hot tub, and 2 grills, plus plenty of parking in the garage.

Downside is no dogs, no glass, we'd have to be done by midnight - and then there's always the chance someone would jump from the roof - it's 330 feet up, after all.

PS: (Any Friday before 9/24 works with me)

I can't wait to try some "real" salmon, I'm used to that farm-raised Costco stuff...

I vote for Red Baron's or our place. We've been thinking about having a BBQ, but aren't ready to commit yet. We'd have to either have a rail or Hamster Wheel stunt set up, though. Maybe both.

damn, all that I have been posting lately is negativity.

I was just rather pissed by this fact, I heard it about two weeks ago on the local news and in the newspaper. Then just a few days ago, I discussed it over salmon with my parents (mom saw something in Science News?).

I'll try to find more info...

We also could have it at my place in Clinton. Large backyard, gas grill, smoker grill, ....

Of course I wrote this with out checking with my wife, but what is new??

I'll I know if I would get clean up duty.

Frizzos, Barons, AC's place all sound good.

Mrs. Buzz will be in no shape to camp, but we could come by.

Boating??? Drunk?? Something in me says not a good idea. I'll watch.

Just keep me posted as I will most likely be there, surprise.

I like the idea of doing it the mountains somewhere. One of the campgrounds up big or little would work out great. Either way, I'll be there unless it lands on one of these dates:

    Sept 11: prior obligations
    Sept 19: anniversary
    Sept 25: kids birthday

^ this is a good idea...my b-day is the 23rd and my roommates and i were looking into having a big old party that weekend.

Let's celebrate some birthdays, eat good food and hang out with each other!

And my place is still open, oh, and i have a kick ass grill by the way.

    Question

The 25th is the start of the Maggot MTB summit in Moab. I vote for the weekends of the 11th or 18th. If we camp up by Pineview, we can shuttle mtb's for some downhill.
I want a 6" travel 20lb MTB. I found the 20lb MTB, but only good for riders under 87 pounds.
