Dude, you still going to be at Wisp this weekend? I'm trying to decide if want to go or not. I won't be back in Morganhole until saturday night, so I won't get to practice much. But, if the course is the same as last year, I'm not too worried.

Let me know what your plan is. I'd be willing to head to Snowshoe instead, if you're still interested in checking it out.

Doh! Didn't see this before I left Friday afternoon.

Yeah, I was up there. It absolutely poured Friday night/Sat. morn, so I didn't get out until about 4 Sat. afternoon, and did the Swallow Falls / Herrington Manor ride rather than almost certain death/maiming on a soaked Wisp. All that off-camber stuff in the wet just sends me flying.

Ran through 2 rolls of film shooting the race Sunday, did you race? I'll post some shots once I get them developed and scanned (so, should only be 3-4 months!).

I figured it was going to pour. I got up Sunday morning with the intention of driving over, but decided to save my cash for a weekend-long trip instead. $45 seems really excessive to me for such a so-so race course.

So, I'll be looking forward to seeing those pics later this winter.

Actually, that was the reason I didn't go. I saw that you guys were going to be there, and I figured I'd hold off and try to put something together. None of my friends have returned my calls about going up there though, and I can't really afford gas on my own.

What are you all going to do about lodging and such?

we'll be camping. i guess there will be like 10 of us boston doods, should be a pretty good time. can't L8APX pick you up on the way? or you could meet cantdog?

Is L8 going too? I'm not sure how "on the way" it is, but I wouldn't hesitate to catch a ride if possible. Where is CantDog coming from?

I might just bite the bullet and drive up solo, we'll see. I'm pretty hesitant to spend my weenkend surrounded by a bunch of guys from Boston without any sort of backup [winky thing]. The last thing I need is 2 days of guidos and massholes making fun of the way I talk.
