    The Butterfly Effect

Anyone else catch this? Watch the directors cut?

Interesting movie, definitely not a feel-good, kind, more of a Donnie Darko type.

I liked the end, the Doc pointing out the fact that he has manifested all of the different realities, invented the disease, the books.

Truly a maddening experience, some of it more than a bit over the top, but good.

Definitely worth a rent. Ashton Kutcher (sp)? was pretty good, much more versitaile than I expected.

Just watched the trailer on this one on their website. I think I'll rent it this weekend if I have time!

Yup, while Ashton is a sort of a bad word around these parts, he was surprisingly good in this flick.

I saw this one last night. Hubby and I give it a thumbs up. Freaky-deaky stuff... and Ashton is very nice!

alright, spill it. What's the nasty word or rumors?

Mr. Dennis Quaid didn't have a great rep around Bozeman either. Back when he was still married to Meg Ryan, he was quite an ass. Which, could factor in as a reason for the divorce...but ya never know.

I tried to watch it awhile ago, but got too drunk to remember what happened. Maybe I should rent it again.

I think you're too young for him, though

    just saw it

i have to say i think it was too predictable to be a really good film imo. i enjoyed it, i wasn't yelling at the t.v. or anything, but i did call out every plot twist well beforehand to my friends.

i wouldn't discourage anyone from seeing this, but i wouldn't put it in the 'must see' catagory that includes donnie darko in my book.

    good flick

one of the better dvds i've rented lately. i'm a sucker for time travel movies tho. one thing in particular i liked about it was the acting. most of the time when there are child actors, they suck. i thought all the kids in this movie were great. even the punk'd guy was pretty good.
