HIGH LIFE ROCKS

Just saw High Life in Logan last night. Thanks to Ski Bum Z and Meats of Evil for putting it together.

This is TGR's best film in years. Very well edited, awesome cinematography, good music, great interviews and sound bites from the athletes - just an exceptional movie. THANK YOU TGR for "getting it".

Sage is killing it like nobody else. That kid is fluid like a cool glass of water. Sure, everybody is trying to bring their park game to the mountain, but he's the only one making it look smmoooove, from the cornice to the apron.

BTW, I'm convinced now that Jamie Pierre is a wreckless, showboating braggart. I'd like to think he was joking, but I got the sense that he really thinks skiiing is all about "who has the biggest balls". Goading the audience (which, we all know, is full of impressionable, young, testoterone-addled boys), into attempting his ridiculous stunts is stupid and irresponsible.

It's too bad TGR felt it was OK to even put that crap into the movie. Show the idiot skiing, but don't make us listen to his inane prattle while he douses himself in Jack Daniels. We've seen (and God-forbid smelled) the Holmes-esque Attitude and it's stale and just plain boring. In fact, it's embarassing.

Thank goodness, Victoria came on right after Jamie to balance things out. She's a class act.

BTW, Meats of Evil has a rather large head. I was sitting behind him at the show and he really has a large melon. It kept getting in my view of Victoria. Lets hope that there is more that styrofoam peanuts in there.

I'll have to agree about Jamie Pierre, he may be a good skier, but he seemed dumber than a rock and his attitude on skiing is all around poor.

Speaking of Jack Daniels, I'm about to finish the liter I just purchased about an hour ago to go along with Focused which I redceived today. Can't wait until High Life showeds up in my mailbox. I hope the hat is better than the stupid black t-shirt. I always liked the white t-shirts I got from MSP. I hate balck t-shirts.
