    Peak chair is it.

I love it when it's sunny,

I love it when it's storming (not that it's open then but miracles happen)

I love it when you can't see anything (then no-one else is up there)

    I love it always.

Favourite line, up peak, over the top to West Cirque, down, then over to christmas trees or down west ridge and elevator shaft or escalator.

or million dollar ridge down khyber (trying not to get lost like I did the last two times and end up on the cheakumus lake road walking out)

    or ...

My first trip out there, Peak never openned. And this last year I caught a break in the storm. Most of the stuff off the top seemed closed, however on the way up I noticed the ridgeline under the chair before you started really climbing was totally untracked. I guess sorta in the Surprise area. Well if nobody else is going to ski it...

So I dropped into Whistler Bowl and cut right to hit the ridge. Scored some sick untracked from the top of that ridge all the way down to the floor. All while getting cheers from the chair. What can I say, I love an audience. I still can't believe no one had skied it at that point. The bumps in Whistler bowl were the size of SUVs. It was knee to thigh deep, totally untracked, and nice terrain where I was.

    I'll play your game, Trebek

When Scot showed me the spot at Les Grand Montet he wanted to ski into...I really didn't wanna have anything to do with it.

....But Scot Schmidt is one of the world's best Extreme skiers, so you have to trust him. He said he was going in....we said we'd shoot it....

Scot's path would take him through a 2-meter wide shot at the top at approximately 40 miles an hour. He will then veer to his left and catch air at close to 50, STOPPING before the crevasse that stretched the entire width of the bottom of the chute.

I just sent out my annual invite to Whistler email (friends and family)

I though I'd post it here as well, dates are firm, some frequent flyer miles used (many) and the booking office is open. Depending on who locally takes my offer there may be a couch or so available. Time will tell.

With winter just around the corner it's time for my annual pilgrimage in search of snow. Snow means Whistler!

Following is my schedule for the upcoming season, now taking reservations.

Arrivals are Friday afternoon, departures the following Friday morning.

    December 24-January 7 (two weeks!)
    January 28-February 4
    February 25 - March 4
    March 25 - April 1
    April 22 - April 29

Place is the same as always - Creekside base, you can fall out of bed into the gondola.

Definitely my favorite as well. Oh man...I miss those frequent free demo days...Charging hard to squeeze in as many 2900ft laps as you can...Bliss. Then I moved back to California. Squaw feels smaller now. I think I hear Jackson calling out my name.

It's a friend on an A Snowboards swallowtail. Don't think I'd feel comfortable telemarking that line, even less so on a pair of ScottyBob's
