We drove to SLC from Colorado on Friday night to huck the water ramps on Saturday. I sprained my ankle really badly playing basketball with Telekoptero a few minutes before heading to the water ramps. I was out for the count.

Summit and Tele were stoked to be on the ramps, and Altachics sister Altatude went wayy out of her way to make it possible for those two monkeys to jump. phUnk also helped them jump.
She then made it possible for both of them to jump on Sunday morning too. I was blown away by how much everyone took care of those guys and myself. (the gimp) Then there's Altachic, if you haven't met her already, you must. You'll walk away, (or limp away) a much better person. I know I did, and even without jumping, and knowing that I'd sprain my other ankle, I'd go back out and do it all again in a heartbeat, just so I could hang out with such totally cool people. It was that awesome.

    Altachic rules!!!!!!!!

I adore her, as does my wife and daughter.

Alta rules, too, but that much more when she's around!

Just noticed there's another skier in that pic...didn't see the lower guy before. I was only talking about the higher guy with the mad phUnk froggy steeze.

There's actually 4 people in the air at the same time. One off each jump. Find the shadows on the pool surface.

The guy(JP) off mongo, the big one, is more like 50 or 60 feet off the surface.

Good point, according to my calculations, with their shadow that pic was taken at 12:27 PM.

Good meeting you Ski Monkey, we'll have to grab a beer next time I'm out there.

    Cool

Isn't it kinda tough to swim w/ skis & boots on?

Seriously, it looks great...and that is huge. Do you use your own gear (like old boots) or do they give you something there? I imagine it would take until next season to dry the boots.

I have never been on a water ramp...never even seen one in real life so pardon my total jong-ness on the subject.

Too bad SLC is so far, I'd really like to witness this. I have a little water fear thing going so I need to watch this before I can even consider entertaining something small. I recall reading about a ramp on Iceface in NY state though, and EC mags wanted to go. Did you guys pull something together (I can't recall)?

    Tragic comedy.

Nice work on the ramps, doods and doodette. I would pee in my wetsuit if I found myself that far in the air.
    It's idomatic, beatch.

Wow, those water ramps are sweet. Is there anything like that here in Colorado?

They are going to build a water ramp freestyle/freeride training center in Keystone as soon as the tennis lovers pull their raquets out of their asses.

After you said you got married young, I can't get the image of Priscilla Presley out of my head.
