    MIX IT

Mix 1, from last season at Bachy:

    Ski Mix
A collection of ski movie soundtrack songs heavy on the beats and the words - J5, Swollen Members, etc, which then bumps its way into slightly aged mainstraim rap with halfway decent pace, Dre, Bustah, Eminem, Missy, and then uses the vocal emphasis to get to the quirky Bloodhound Gang, and on to the louder Beasties. Links the Beasties guitars to modern pop punk, e.g. Green Day to finish the show. Unusual progression, but it works, I swear.

Mix 2, just created for South America trip:

    Slack Rap and Jam
Starts it off right with Cake, a mix of Nugget and Eagle, and follows with selected Beck from Mellow Gold, Odelay, and Midnight Vultures. Takes the beat and passes it to G Love and Special Sauce, a combo of the self-titled album and the third effort, Yeah It's That Easy. G Love's harmonica leads to full blown Blues Traveler jam, and then the mix finishes in the same vein with a little Rusted Root sessie.

Mix 3, also just cooked up:

Rock Out With Your Cock Out (Screamers)
Leads off with a huge AC DC set, which eventually blazes into Def Leppard. Rock ballads continue with Damn Yankees, and then we follow Terrible Ted Nugent over to Bad Company for a live showing. Aerosmith closes out the masterpiece with a Best Of lineup. It's guitars and crooners, rock is not dead!

    Next up...

Mix 4: An Era of Classic Rock
    Zep
    Floyd
    Stones
    Doors
    Petty
    The Who
    Etc...

    Radiohead
    Weezer
    Chili Peppers
    Etc...

    Etc...

What you got in your diseased brains? How do you connect the different voices in your head?
