That's some good stuff. Nothing like a little east coast stoke to really get my ski juices flowing.

Sick and ashamed and happy (and I like to ski),

Trock took this of me about 12 years ago - coming down Profanity. I love Stowe. In fact, there's video of this somewhere. T, any idea?

    JMO-

I believe the video footage was the property of AC, who has somehow drifted away over the past 12 years. Sorry.
So I got that goin' for me...which is nice.

I bought Elevated last year and it really opened my eyes to what East Coast skiing could be with a little imagination.

These guys will run out of places to shoot in short order, but props to the Meatheads for representing the East Siiide.

Basom, you're damn good! We've put pics of that spot up before...and that is actually me in the frame there too.

These guys are all a year ahead of me in school, and most graduated last spring. One is moving to Jackson Hole, but the rest are sticking around. Super cool guys and rippers for sure. They welcome the support.

Nice, these guys were up at Mt. Washington when I was there in late February... Horrible conditions, but saw them rip some good lines in Tuckermans.

    ^bump

the Meatheads are definitely awesome and finally getting their due respect this year in the form of this thread and the Skiing mag article. Everyone should come check out their Burlington/UVM premier. Plus I'd love to shoot the shit with some other EC maggots at the bars after.

As far as running out of terrain, theres at least a year or two worth of terrain left at Stowe, probably a lot more depending on snow levels. I know SkiJunky and I have been exploring, can't wait to post some of it here this winter its gonna be crazy.

as for the running out of terrain issue think about the adirondack park, first off its HUGE and secondly there isn't a whole lot of stuff thats easy to access. It would take someone with a LOT of time and a lot of dedication but if you could spend a couple of years up there touring and camping just to scout stuff I bet there'd be a bunch of good stuff to ski, if there was enough snow and if you could do it without breaking yourself.
