Trouble with emoticons

and other stuff.

I can't use the TGR emoticons, but the will show up if I put in the correct text, i.e. :, but not if I click it from the menu. Also I can't use the drop down menus for fonts, colors, etc. I don't know how it shows up on other's computors, but mine shows the text like [red] before and after the selected text. It used to work fine. In the general scheme of things this is really no biggie, at least compared to world hunger, but it probably does rate higher then what Jennifer Aniston had for lunch.

Any, or no, help would be appreciated.
