    Deep NZ pow....Aug 16th

No pics right now because my buddy was shooting with slide film today...check back later

All I can say is that we hit 9:00 am powder about a foot deep at Coronet. Back bowls were open and was sick....super light cold smoke snow.

At 1:00 pm we hit up the Remarks where the weather began to clear. About a foot to two feet of the lightest driest Antarctic powder was up for the taking. My kiwi bros reckon it was one of the best days EVER at the Remarks...Lots of "Fuck it" airs and a few drydocks later we ended up skiing halfway down the access road at 4:15pm.

    [Jealous]

Can't wait for those pictures. I felt the first bite of fall today in Boston - walking along the beach watching a storm roll in from off the coach and feeling a crisp bite to the wind... Counting the days till the flakes fall...

But...but it's only the 16th today. How is this possible? Could it be that skier666 is posting from...the future ?

    Thumbs up

Glad you're out gettin' some. John B was the sickness. He did a 20 minute version of American Girls with Traci Lords as a guest MC. Also, the Special K was flowing and I spent most of the night with my nose pressed against an 18" speaker.

Unfortunately the D-n-B doesn't have the raw power of Coalesce so I couldn't see the distortion coming out of the speakers, but remember... you can't kill us all.

666 - if you're at Coronet, stop by ski school and say hey to my friend Mark Lawes, who teaches snowboarding there. Good guy, and a good rider.
